BLACK YOUTH | 25.05.2024 (11am - 6pm) | 26.05.2024 (11am - 3pm) | *Workshop | Exploring African feminisms, masculinities and intersectionalities

Dear Black Youth,

welcome to our upcoming workshop with Tina Adomako and Akosua Adomako Ampofo, on Saturday, 25.05.2024 (11am - 6pm) & Sunday, 26.05.2024 (11am - 3pm) at EOTO e.V., Kameruner Str. 16, 13351 Berlin.

Using the lens of African feminisms, this workshop invites participants to explore the intersections of gendered, African and black identities globally & how they impact Black empowerment. We do this with a view to building solidarity and imagining futures we can safely & joyfully inhabit, and creating empowering strategies to get us there. We will use a mix of facilitator inputs, break out sessions and plenary reporting-back to design a “to-do” action plan that we can hold ourselves accountable to.
