diesen Juni ist es wieder so weit und unser AFROLUTION FESTIVAL findet vom 27.-30.06.2024 unter dem Titel »African/-Diasporic Pluriverses I« statt. Dieses Jahr ist eines der Schwerpunktthemen die auslaufende UN Dekade für Menschen Afrikanischer Herkunft (2015-2024) sowie die Würdigung historischer panafrikanischer Events wie dem Megafestival FESTAC, das 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria stattfand.
Und wie immer: literarische Neuerscheinungen und Klassiker, Sachbücher und Diskursveranstaltungen und coole Performances. Natürlich feiern wir auch bei Afrolution 2024 das 10-jährige Bestehen von Each One Teach One (EOTO)! Wir freuen uns schon sehr darauf, Euch im Mai das Afrolution Gesamtprogramm vorstellen zu können!

Dear Community,
This June it's that time again and our AFROLUTION FESTIVAL will take place from 27.-30.06.2024 under the title »African/-Diasporic Pluriverses I«. This year, one of the main themes is the expiring UN Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024) as well as the appreciation of historical pan-African events such as the mega festival FESTAC, which took place in Lagos, Nigeria in 1977. And as always: new literary publications and classics, non-fiction books, discourse events and cool performances.
Of course, we will also be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Each One Teach One (EOTO) at Afrolution 2024! We are very much looking forward to presenting the full Afrolution program to you in May!

im Rahmen des AFROLUTION FESTIVALS suchen wir Produktionsassistenzen sowie Pflicht- oder Orientierungspraktikant*innen (d/w/m). Es werden Kolleg*innen für die Vorbereitungen ab dem 24.Juni, während des Festivals und für die Nachbereitung gesucht.
Du liebst Literatur und Kultur und möchtest motiviert bei einem Festival für und von Schwarzen, afrikanischen und afro-diasporischen Menschen mithelfen? Du möchtest aktiv in die Produktion eines einzigartigen Festivals mit internationalen Gäst*innen aus dem Aktivismus, den Wissenschaften und Künsten eingebunden werden? Wir suchen bezahlte sowie ehrenamtliche Verstärkung in unterschiedlichen Bereichen.

Dear community,
As part of the AFROLUTION FESTIVAL, we are looking for production assistants as well as compulsory or orientation interns (d/f/m).
We are looking for colleagues for the preparations from June 24th on, during the festival and for the post-production.
Do you love literature and culture and would you like to help with a festival for and by black, African and Afro-diasporic people? Would you like to be actively involved in the production of a unique festival with international guests from the fields of activism, science and the arts? We are looking for paid and volunteer support in various areas of a festival production.
If we have piqued your interest and you would like to become a part of AFROLUTION 2024, please send us your CV, your available dates and the scope of your available hours by April 30th to: afrolution@eoto-archiv.de
