Coffee Talk #2: »Transnational (re)imagination of Resistance and Resilience«

Did you always want to find out more about the »Sape« culture in the Congolese metropolises of Kinshasa and Brazzaville? Here, with the help of fashion pro-fessionals, you can find out how to wear bold style without spending a lot of money! Because Sape is all about inner attitude, personal style and the necessary attitude. The work-shop participants work together with the Panafrican stylist team to create a choreography and then present the results later in the evening during the AFROLUTION closing party as part of a community modelling défilé.

In this creative workshop, young people aged 12-18 discover the exciting world of comics. They learn how to tell stories with pictures, figures and speech bubbles (the so-called »bulles«) and how to design your own comics step by step. From the initial idea to the storyboard to the coloured comic page - the focus here is on imagination. The workshop is aimed at 12 to 17-year-olds and lasts a maximum of 3 hours. No previous knowledge is necessary - just a desire to draw and tell stories!
