Black Parents Germany is an initiative for Black families in Germany in which they offer inspiration, empower-ment, support and advocacy as parents of Black children. Under the motto »It takes a community to raise a child«, they organise events, network meetings, readings and much more.
Black Children Library Bremen is the first children‘s library in Germany to centre Black children and young people in the stories of the books as heroes and main characters. The children‘s and young adult books are a carefully selected range of diversity-conscious children‘s and young adult literature that aims to empower readers and raise awareness of a wide variety of realities and everyday experiences.
